A woozic rog? No, a music blog!

So, with this post, I inaugurate this new music blog. I'm a music lover of wide proportions, so keep a watch out for blogs on tons of different types of music. I also have a hobby of finding up and coming musicians from all over the country, and considering I've maintained the hobby for several years, I have a lot of catch-up posting to do, but I think I'll manage.

Basically, if you're looking for new music or searching for someone who also loves the same band you do, look no further...well, unless you're only into smooth jazz. If that's the case, look much further. (I'm a jazz purist. Growing up on Miles Davis will do that to a kid, you know?)

A few things to note: Because I'm a music freak and I enjoy writing, some of my "reviews", shall we say, might be sort of long winded. So, in favor of those who don't like reading and/or have an extremely short attention span, I'll split my posts into two parts: "Artist Brief" and "My Thoughts". "Artist Brief" will just a short background on the artist and links to the websites so you can quickly decide if he/she/they sound like something you'd be into. "My Thoughts" will be a longer review including my thoughts about the artist, a description of their "sound", and whatever else seems relevant. I'll try not to make them too long, but just remember, the columned format of the blog makes everything look longer. Like this post.
